During the course of our work we have developed strong
skills in the following emerging technologies:
VoIP: We have a good understanding of H.323, SIP and
MGCP. We have worked with some of the most widely deployed commercial
stacks such as RADVision and Hughes H.323. We can implement and port
applications across stacks and share our experiences about development
effort, interoperability, and performance. Our experience includes development
of a variety of applications from PC based phone, to a call generator
to applications, which allow basic monitoring of QoS metrics.
Speech processing: We are developing
speech processing software for Indian languages. Based on phoneme synthesis/analysis
techniques, we are creating speech models for Indian languages and Indian
English.
Computer Telephony Integration: We have
worked with CTI middleware and have also developed a service creation
environment. We have experience in design and development of voice based
applications, which comply with recognized industry standards. |

We help companies achieve their software development targets and vastly
accelerate their product development cycles and times to market by providing
a high quality, low cost development environment. Working in close conjunction
with global development teams, we have formed integral parts of R&D
and product development efforts for leading companies all over the world.
Some of our key strengths in technology are:
|
PROTOCOLS
We have been working on NGN related projects
for over two years and have a very strong grasp on several ITU and IETF
standards. We have implemented stacks and handled implementation related
issues as well as application and system integration related issues for
our clients. We understand problems relating to design, maintenance, inter-operability,
testing and resource consumption. |
TRANSPORT
Voice over packet application development and
performance tuning requires a first hand knowledge of how voice quality
metrics are tied to network parameters. Since real network characteristics
change erratically, sophisticated handling is needed to produce acceptable
MOS levels and to diagnose voice quality problems. Prologix has worked
on an ITSP project and has produced a full dynamic jitter buffer implementation
|
ENCODING
We have worked with almost all the codecs standardized by ITU and have
implemented PCM A-law and GSM 6.10 schemes for a special application.
In addition to codec implementation, we have hands on experience with
diagnosing codec related problems related to QoS (clipping, delay, data
loss) and have worked on optimisation of codec choice for different network
conditions. |
THIRD PARTY SOFTWARE
During the course of our work, we have had a
chance to work with some of the most widely deployed NGN tools and frameworks.
We have hands on experience with products from RADVision (Stacks), Elemedia
(Stack and Codecs), Hughes (Stacks), Nuance (Recogniser, Speech objects).
|
APPLICATIONS
We are very familiar with development frameworks
such as PARLAY and S.100. Our experience includes development of a full
fledged, vendor neutral service creation utility. We have produced specialized
XML schema which serve as intermediate representations of services and
call flows and allow for translations to other representations, high level
languages (C, java, C++), byte code etc. We have demonstrated a range
of services from basic Class 5 (diversion, wait, intrusion …) to
sophisticated applications like conferencing and voice browsing. |
REAL TIME OPERATING SYSTEM
DEVOLEPMENT
We have experience with RTOS based development
and a good understanding of how real time features are implemented at
kernel, device driver and application level Formal Methods in Telecom
Software Engineering
We have a good experience with system specification
and design techniques used for high complexity, real time telecom systems.
We have a good understanding of ASN.1, SDL and CASE tools. |
VoiceXML:
Prologix has been one of the early adopters of the VoiceXML standard. Close to the release of the first VoiceXML draft in March 2000, we developed our own implementation of the language by November 2000. We have tracked the VoiceXML standard and have ensured compliance with the most current W3C approved version of the standard at all times and have successfully licensed its VXML interpreter to customers in India, South America and the United States. With extensive experience of working with other leading VoiceXML technology (ASR, TTS, Gateway, Telephony) vendors and implementing complex VoiceXML applications in business-critical environments, Prologix’s VoiceXML team brings several hundreds of man months of hands-on VoiceXML expertise to a new project. The benefits of this expertise accrue to the customer in the form of shorter implementation cycles, robust implementations and significantly lower system integration costs.
